Habit Track

Privacy Policy

Effective date:
Android app: id.moontech.habittrack

Habit Track helps you build routines and track progress. Your habit data stays on your device unless you choose to connect Google for backup.

This policy covers Habit Track, developed by Rafly Habibi. For privacy questions or data requests, contact raflyhabibictr@gmail.com.

1. Data stored on your device

The app stores habit names, icons, colors, schedules, reminder settings, timer information, activity history, paused or archived habits, daily check-ins, and preferences in its private storage on your device. This data is used to display your routines and progress and to run the reminders and timers you configure.

You can use habit tracking without an account or internet connection. The app does not contain ads, an analytics SDK, advertising-ID tracking, or a developer-operated backend for habit data. We do not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising.

2. Optional Google sign-in and backup

If you connect Google, the app uses Google's sign-in and authorization services. Your Google account identity, name, email address, and profile photo URL are stored locally to display your profile and identify the backup destination. Your profile photo is cached privately on your device. An optional display name changes only your profile in Habit Track.

With your permission, the app uses the drive.appdata scope to store backups in the private application-data area of your Google Drive. It does not request access to all your Drive files. This app-data area is hidden from the normal Drive file list.

Backups contain habit records, schedules and reminder settings, activity and daily check-in history, and the information needed to identify and restore a backup. Google credentials, access tokens, Android permission grants, and scheduled device notifications are not included. App appearance, language, and your custom profile name remain local.

Backup data travels directly from your device to Google over HTTPS. It does not pass through a developer-operated server. Access tokens are held in memory and handled through official Google services. Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Google user data is used only for the sign-in, profile, backup, and restore features described here. It is not used for advertising or sold to other parties.

3. Backup behavior and retention

After you connect Google, the app checks for existing backups. If this device has no habit data, it can restore the latest backup automatically. Existing local habit data is kept and backed up as this installation's own series. Backup is a recovery feature, not cross-device synchronization.

Backups run automatically while the account remains connected and authorized. Offline changes wait for a network connection and Android's scheduling. Changes that have not been uploaded cannot be recovered from Google Drive.

Each installation keeps its two latest successfully verified backup versions and removes older versions in its own series after a new backup is verified. Backups from another installation are not removed by that routine. Disconnecting, clearing local data, or uninstalling the app does not itself delete existing Drive backups.

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app's storage. Drive backups remain until they are replaced by the retention process or you delete them through Google Drive.

4. Reminders and device permissions

Notification access lets the app show your reminders. Special alarm access, full-screen alarm access, foreground execution, and wake locks support the timers and alarms you choose. Boot and clock-change events let the app reschedule reminders. Internet access is used for optional Google sign-in, profile images, and backup.

You can manage notification and alarm access in Android settings. Turning off these permissions can prevent reminders or alarms from appearing as configured. Notifications may display habit names on your lock screen according to your Android notification settings.

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, photo library, or health sensors. Habit Track is a personal routine tracker and does not provide medical diagnoses or medical recommendations.

5. Your choices and data deletion

Habit Track does not create a separate developer-hosted account. Connecting or disconnecting it does not create or delete your Google Account.

For help accessing or deleting your data, email raflyhabibictr@gmail.com. We cannot remotely read or delete files held only on your device or in your private Google Drive. We can help you follow the deletion steps. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or backup files with a support request.

6. Security and sharing

Habit Track uses Android's private app storage and HTTPS for Google requests. Backups are checked for integrity before restoration. These checks detect damaged data; backups are not end-to-end encrypted with a separate user password. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

The app does not send habit records to us. Google receives the information needed to provide the Google features you enable. If you email us, your address and the information you provide are processed to respond to your request and retained only as needed to handle it or meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of that correspondence.

7. Visiting this policy page

This page is hosted on flysite.cc through Cloudflare. Web infrastructure may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the page. This is separate from habit data stored in the app. This policy page contains no advertising, analytics scripts, sign-in form, or habit-data upload form.

For information about Cloudflare's processing, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the app's data practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes that require consent will be presented through the appropriate app permission or consent flow.
